The platform indexes the 382 Taichung Golden Hand Award winners— the Taichung Industrial District's longest-running recognition of export-grade manufacturers — and ~55,000 U.S. industrial buyers drawn from open registry data and trade-press intelligence.

For each Taiwan supplier we maintain a real-time intelligence stream: U.S. buyer matches scored to their ICP, sector signals clustered from public press, and bylined editorial briefings drafted by our hybrid analyst-plus-AI team.

Editorial standard

Every published artifact carries a named byline. A small analyst team verifies and signs off on every fact, signal, and briefing before it appears on a supplier's public profile — enforced at the database layer by a publish gate that rejects any unbylined publish.

AI agents draft. Humans publish. We treat the line between draft and published as load-bearing.

Confidence on everything

Every fact, signal, score, match, and briefing in Compass Atlas carries a confidence rating in [0, 1]. Below 0.5 we decline to surface the claim — speculation is forbidden in our agent prompts. The rating is computed from the underlying evidence and is visible to the supplier and the analyst on the same row.

Compass Atlas indexes publicly available business data from the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), the Taichung Industrial District Industry Promotion Committee (IDIPC), Taiwan's 104 job board, the U.S. NAICS registry, and curated trade press feeds (Automotive News, IndustryWeek, CompositesWorld, Modern Machine Shop, Supply Chain Dive, Manufacturing Dive, EE Times, 經濟日報, 自由時報財經, and others).

Personal contact information is never collected through the continuous intelligence pipeline. Named individual contacts flow only through paid Supplier Intelligence Reports (SIR) under explicit consent.

Bilingual by default

Compass Atlas is a fully bilingual platform — English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan locale) side-by-side. Every editorial briefing, signal, and source article is rendered in both, with analyst-correctable translations using a curated Taiwan-industrial glossary.
